Where Did Last Year's Cocktail Money Go?

The annual cocktail is our single largest fundraising event of the year, and the blood line of BLUE Missions. The success of each year's event determines the number of projects we can take on the following year, and in turn the number of lives we can impact. 

Every year, we nervously watch the ticket sales slowly pour in on the month leading up to the big night, and bite our nails tracking donations from the moment guests arrive until the last dollar is counted after the DJ stops playing. 

In 2016, the BLUE Missions Cocktail raised $165,000 between ticket sales and donations made at the event. THE GREATEST AMOUNT RAISED TO DATE. We could not have been more excited!! That number to us, meant more water projects, more latrines, and more communities received life-altering infrastructure, improvED public health, education, and economic opportunity. 

So what did we do with all that moola, you ask? 

Well, here's the breakdown:

Oh, and we also made some investments to meet the demands of increased projects.
