BLUE’s Summer Leadership Program gives returning participants the opportunity to step into greater responsibility, support volunteers in the field, and grow as leaders while serving alongside our U.S. and Dominican teams.

SUMMER FELLOW SUMMER INTERN

SUMMER INTERN

4 to 5 Weeks
Lead 3 to 4 Service Trips

For previous BLUE volunteers ready to grow into a leadership role and help guide participants through the service trip experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and support BLUE service trips

• Coordinate daily projects and activities

• Guide volunteers throughout the trip

• Support logistics and communication

• Lead reflections and group experiences

PROGRAM FEE

• $650

• $250 Registration Deposit

• The $250 deposit is required to secure your spot and is applied toward the total Program Fee.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• Roundtrip airfare from Miami

• Transportation within the country

• Lodging throughout the program

• Most meals during your stay

• Travel insurance coverage

SUMMER FELLOW

Approximately 12 Weeks
Lead 6 to 7 Service Trips

For experienced BLUE leaders ready to mentor interns, support volunteers, and take on greater responsibility throughout the summer.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and support BLUE service trips

• Mentor interns and guide volunteers

• Coordinate daily projects and activities

• Support trip logistics and communication

• Help oversee the participant experience

FELLOWSHIP STIPEND

• $2,500 Upon Completion

• Roundtrip airfare from Miami

• Transportation within the country

• Lodging throughout the program

• Most meals during your stay

• Transportation within the country

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

• All participants must complete required BLUE training, First Aid and CPR certification, and a background check before departure.
