WHAT YOU’LL HELP BUILD

BLUE’s point-of-use filtration systems provide families with an additional tool to help ensure the water they drink is safe. The systems use ceramic activated carbon filters to remove potential lingering impurities from the water.

Volunteers help assemble and install filters directly in family homes while working alongside BLUE’s local team and community members.

Education is a central part of the experience. Volunteers also participate in workshops that help families and students understand how to properly use and maintain their filters while building healthier water practices.s.

Separate from your Program Fee, the Community Contribution Fund (CCF) supports the planning, materials, implementation, and long-term sustainability of BLUE’s sanitation, filter, and sustainability projects.

All participants are required to fulfill the $500 CCF commitment through fundraising, personal contributions, or a combination of both.
