WATER CHANGES EVERYTHING
Water is our most basic need. Without it, communities are limited in how much they can progress.
Diseases contracted by drinking dirty water kill more people every year than every form of violence combined. With clean, drinking water, families are healthier and children miss less days of school.
Women carry the burden of the water crisis as they are most often the ones responsible for collecting water for their families each day. Some women walk up to three hours per day for water. With a faucet in their homes, they have more time to earn an income and break the cycle of poverty.
