SERVICE TRIP COST + FEES
PROJECTS OVER PROFIT
BLUE Missions is a nonprofit organization committed to ending the water and sanitation crisis in our lifetime. 100% of our public donations go directly to funding projects, so our trips help us cover the overhead expenses that come with making this whole operation go. Around 75% of the trip cost goes into putting on the experience for our volunteers, while the remainder helps us cover operational expenses and administration.
SERVICE TRIP COST: $1,250 + COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION FEE
In order to reserve your spot on a BLUE Missions trip, you must pay the $250 deposit. This deposit goes towards your overall trip cost and is nonrefundable. All payments made to BLUE Missions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to new American Airlines policies, BLUE Missions will no longer be able to issue flight vouchers for any participant who cancels after flights have been purchased. COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION FEE

The Community Contribution Fee (CCF) is each volunteer's part in funding the service project they are working on. This fee helps us meet the demand for service trips with enough funds to supply service projects.
Volunteers are encouraged to fundraise their entire CCF on our custom fundraising platform. By asking family and friends for donations, they both discover the power of crowd funding and help us inform more people about the water and sanitation crisis. 100% of the funds raised towards the CCF go directly to the field.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE CCF
The CCF on a Water Project is $500, and $250 on a Sanitation Project. The difference in the fee is caused by the cost difference in executing the two projects.
Because of our Be Bold Model, if you exceed your fundraising goal it cannot be transferred to cover your trip cost.
If you do not raise the full CCF amount before the deadline, your credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance.
