Kaelen Krumich:

Kaelen Krumich is a senior and Mas scholar at Christopher Columbus High School. He is in the top 10% of his class, is a 3-year varsity track and field runner, president of the Investment and Environmental Clubs, treasurer of the English Honor Society, and head of business operations at PlaySmart, Stay Smart. Outside of school, Kaelen is an avid environmentalist who enjoys nature photography. As a student in Ms. Taylor's AP Environmental class, Kaelen learned about the Urban Heat Island Effect - a phenomenon where annual mean air temperatures of cities are significantly higher than nearby rural areas. The White Roof Initiative is his way of improving the community around him in an effort to make it more sustainable.
